After bouncing from one semi-pro hockey team to the next for several years, Marcel hung up his skates to pursue a career in country music. His earliest efforts were fruitless, but relocating from Los Angeles to Nashville provided a change in fortunes in the form of a record deal with Mercury. His debut, You, Me and the Windshield was released in 2003.
