Emily Brown
Growing up in Rancho Mirage, California, Emily wrote her first song at twelve years old. A classically trained pianist from the age of 8, she fostered a love for literature and poetry from an early age. In 2009, Emily moved to Provo, Utah, the small-town home of the Neon Trees, Fictionist, and Joshua James. Over the course of the next two years, she made a name for herself through her sincere songwriting, full, clear voice, and melodic, classically influenced piano parts. Because of her well-crafted songwriting, Emily has been compared to the likes of Leonard Cohen and Tori Amos.Emily is currently living in the United Kingdom, studying English and art as part of a university program. She is also playing several shows in London during her time there.
