Steve Nelson
史蒂夫·尼尔森（Steve Nelson）被公认为最全面、最具原创性的电颤琴演奏家，是他这一代人中最受推崇的电颤琴演奏家之一。史蒂夫因其独创性和流畅的和声手法而广受赞誉，他的职业生涯是沿着受他影响最深的米尔特·杰克逊（Milt Jackson）开辟的道路开始的。大学期间，尼尔森曾与吉他手格兰特·格林（Grant Green）合作，之后又与詹姆斯·斯伯丁（James Spaulding）和肯尼·巴伦（Kenny Barron）合作演出和录制唱片，最后还加入了大卫·纽曼（David “Fathead” Newman）的五重奏乐队。 史蒂夫是戴夫·霍兰德（Dave Holland）广受赞誉的五重奏和大乐队（Big Band）、乔治·谢林五重奏（George Shearing Quintet）的资深成员，也是穆格鲁·米勒（Mulgrew Miller）的朋友，并经常与他合作组建 Wingspan 六重奏。史蒂夫继续与唐纳德-布朗（Donald Brown）、蕾妮·罗斯内斯（Renee Rosnes）、杰弗里·基泽（Geoffrey Keezer）和杰里米·佩尔特（Jeremy Pelt）等人合作巡演和录制唱片。
