The Monkees
The Monkees，是一只美国本土乐队，由四人组成，于二十世纪60年代兴起，最初，乐队成员是应一则电视广告走到一起的。猴子乐队创作了很多世界知名的歌曲，现在仍能不时作为怀旧流行乐听到。包括“（Theme From）The Monkees”，“Last Train to Clarksville”，“I’m a Believer”，“（I’m Not Your）Steppin’Stone”，“Pleasant Valley Sunday”以及“Daydream Believer”。他们的专辑跟单曲已经在全球售出了售出了6500万张。 Davy Jones（主唱、吉他、手鼓、沙球）、Micky Dolenz（鼓手、主唱）、Peter Tork（贝斯、键盘、主唱）、Michael Nesmith（吉他、主唱），到2012年，乐队还剩下了后三位。
