Virtuosi di Kuhmo is one of the most interesting chamber orchestras in Europe today. Founded in 1992 to continue the traditions of the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival orchestra, Virtuosi di Kuhmo soon began performing more frequently outside the festival. Since 1995, this group of young Finnish string musicians has been working as an independent ensemble.
